Our entire service philosophy is rooted in fire prevention and carbon monoxide awareness. Connecticut sees chimney-related house fires and CO incidents every year, many preventable with routine professional maintenance. We invest heavily in continuing education, updated equipment, and code-compliance training because the stakes are real. Our technicians understand how Durham's climate, cold, wet winters followed by freeze-thaw cycling, specifically stresses masonry and liner systems, and we communicate those regional realities to every customer rather than delivering a generic national-brand script.
We're proud to be a local, family-operated business that answers its own phone and stands behind its work. When you call (475) 225-2335, you're reaching someone who knows Durham's neighborhoods, understands Connecticut's building codes, and genuinely cares about the outcome. We offer free written estimates, same-week scheduling when possible, and a satisfaction guarantee on every job. Mateos isn't the biggest chimney company in the state, we're the most careful one in your town, and that's exactly how we intend to stay.
